@b0n0myt1res@AGRobBonta Warner and Paramount have already been cut to the bone in corporate jobs. This is about production jobs, and those productions (and tens of thousands of jobs) are frozen in limbo with the merger. The longer the freeze the worse the damage gets.
He canโt move the Paramount lot out of California, the heart and soul of the company will always be in California, but there is a lot he can do. @AGRobBonta should settle the case and make a deal. Demand jobs. Just get this done. Get Hollywood working again.
David Ellison just told his staff that Paramount will move out of California if he can't settle the state lawsuit over the Warner Bros. merger. And he set a very specific (and very soon!) deadline. Tons of new details โฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธ https://t.co/EejQ4dZkXX
@b0n0myt1res@AGRobBonta Hollywood is a business. Itโs real people, real jobs, small businesses and an entire ecosystem which needs to be protected and cared for. If he actually cares about real people heโll find a real solution. If he has a political ax to grind he will lose worse than Hollywood will.
@Derelex21@RobBonta Exactly. If heโs focused on creating jobs this is not the way. I want what is best for the creative community, for the Artists, the businesses, those trying to get work, and get things made and this is hurting all of that.
I think Ryan Murphy would love my new novel. Just putting it out there. Have your people call me, Ryan!
My new novel, Darkness & Sunshine, is also a fictional autobiography, super sexy, edgy, fun vibes, set in a sunny paradise, but rather than murder or violence it's got intellectual and philosophical threads which I think the market, GenZ in particular is really craving. I'm not into horror or graphic violence, I'm into film theory and spiritual inquiry. I know I'm not alone in craving intellectual depth in storytelling. It's rare out there.
I watched the first two episodes of #TheShards@FXNetworks and I'm into it. I'm a Ryan Murphy fan (since Nip/Tuck) and @BretEastonEllis (Rules of Attraction is one of my favorite films). Loving the fictional autobiographical take/storytelling; I love stories about writers and Hollywood. Visually vibrant. I love it for the reason many seem to hate it LOL. These billboards in LA got me too, whoever did this nailed it. I dig the vibe.
@TheFP@Jed_Rubenfeld This is deeply disturbing to me. The facts and the truth must be determined here. This is not about one man, this is about science, how exactly COVID-19 was managed and what that means for America, public health and the public good. He must answer the questions or face Justice.
