Tonight is our first Scottish Parliamentary reception for motor neuron disease in more than three years.
Hosted by @BobDorisSNP we’ll be highlighting the key issues impacting people affected by #MND including housing and social care.
As if you needed more reason to come to @CIOFScotland#ScotConf, @JoFundraising is outlining the new initiatives for 2023. Reduced prices for @CIOFtweets members, more discounts for smaller charities, new tracks and award categories.
Booking is open now https://t.co/QlJupBbXpg.
Today is #RareDiseaseDay.
Although motor neuron disease is considered a #RareDisease, it's not as rare as you might think.
Around 1 in 300 people will develop #MND and with no cure, that means 1 in 300 people will die because of MND.
Please retweet! 💙
