@ODesenfans totally valid, i’ve been having a lot of fun optimizing the vibe hacking. hoping it’s paying off long term bc i can use it for far larger tasks. but def was a bit inefficient while i figured stuff out
@ODesenfans gives me room to refactor the plan later etc. but still fine tuning when to refresh context vs when to maintain, and when to print stuff to a doc for a new chat to get up to speed w the existing task. it’s a balance
@ODesenfans yeah one way i’ve been working around context creep is using one chat to develop a detailed plan w/ sections & steps, then “printing” it in a markdown doc with checkboxes to mark progress. and then i’ll open up a new chat for each section
For the longest of time we've been working on an idea shared by @Alucard_eth during one of our community AMA's.

@obymuralex glad you felt the love; it was & is genuine, from all of us. things can rough in this industry but we do believe in what we’re doing and we’re going to keep our heads down working to further that vision. thank you for being a part of this journey and your thoughtful post
With Eclipse TGE coming this week, I think it's a great time to restate why we're building this.
Ethereum is a great chain in terms of user-base, ecosystem and decentralization. Its main limitation today is its poor scalability.
The L2 roadmap is there to fix this. Problem, current L2s are not that scalable themselves, resulting in a maze of general-purpose L2s, app-specific L2s and even L3s. I believe this fragmentation cannot be solved in a transparent and trustless manner through bridging. This will never be great for users.
What I do believe in is a single general-purpose L2 chain that is performant enough to serve millions of users and flexible enough that developers don't feel forced to build their own app-chains. This is the mission of Eclipse, which we will achieve by focusing on 3 pillars:
1. Performance: we believe Solana is the best basis to build a high-performance blockchain. Out of the box, you get higher throughput than all of the current EVM L2s combined. Local fee markets provide isolation between apps (think: no random fee spikes). Our research shows that the theoretical performance limits are much higher than the current status quo.
2. Customization: app-chains exist because teams want control. With concepts like Application-Specific Sequencing, devs can set the rules for their apps without leaving the general-purpose chain.
3. Decentralization: L2s don’t inherit Ethereum security magically, so we’re adding fraud proofs, DA bridging, forced inclusion, and more to anchor Eclipse as tightly as possible to Ethereum.
Simply put, there is no theoretical breakthrough needed, the technology is available, the goals are clear, it's only a matter of execution. We have a great research and engineering team and we will deliver. Bullish like never before.
