While I think “all forms of suffering are bad” (phenomenology and experience of it), I wouldn’t necessarily say “all forms of suffering ought to be avoided”.

It ain’t perfect, but it gets the job done for me.

Now, whether we ought to avoid it (stoicism, buddhism, etc…) or embrace it (Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, etc…) goes more into the ethics of it.

It’s hard to explain using language, but the experience felt and appeared to me as something “immoral”.

An axiom would be something like “A=A” (Law of Identity), or “flourishing is good” and “suffering is bad” in the realm of ethics.

@drakloak @itzRex The issue here is that u’re not being impartial in your critique and not addressing the OP’s point. U highlight the amount of witnesses in the case of the stabbing, but also appeal to a very disputed claim where the only witnesses are the def n co-def… y is that?
