The death of Gideon Sitelu Konchella reminds us all of our mortality. Gideon was my successor in 2002, and subsequent predecessor. Having been elected at the crest of the Narc wave, he enjoyed a long tenure in Parliament. We competed for office but always respecful
@ledamalekina Actually, KANU exited less dramatically. After the initial loss it survived with big numbers. 20 years later we are here, as it's embers. Prognosis for ODM ndo sijui
@hon_wamuchomba I am glad to see that poetry is still alive in this Republic, to express the truth in so smooth and harmless a manner, yet so tellingly true.
@OleItumbi@StandardKenya@citizentvkenya May he rest in peace. His long service in the police force was full of activity. The nature of his job earned him friends, but gave him a disproportionate number of enemies. Our prayers to his loved ones.
@MmojaLowro@ledamalekina We will do our best. It will be budgeted for , I believe, this coming year. It is a very important road for us in Transmara as well as for the people in South Nyanza
@DonaldBKipkorir The lady was my classmate. I can inform that in her campus days she laughed, albeit sparingly. However, this job, and I served as a magistrate, is not a laughing matter.
@OleItumbi In the end, the matter has been settled in the manner contemplated by the law. The purpose of the trial is to weigh the evidence, and on that basis convict or acquit.
An open message to President @WilliamsRuto ;
It's very unfortunate that Kenya has a president who is representing more foreign interests in Kenya. Immediately he became a president, the first thing was to introduce GMO seeds from the USA. Still, as if that was not enough shock, he goes ahead to propose selling Kenyan Public property to individuals in the glorified crime called restructuring and privatization. Now, he is planning to send Kenyan police to Haiti to fight for the US interests. On top of that, in Kenya, unless you are a Kikuyu or a Kalenjin, other Kenyans have been loudly told that they have no share in the government. Current government employment is opaque, and on the basis of those two tribes, other Kenyans must be content with table droppings, if any!
Then he welcomes the irrelevant King Charles of Britain to Kenya, sober citizens wonder who is footing the bill for those outdated comical shows they have been displaying.
The president and those in the position of government have been running blindly helter-skelter all over the world, misusing the critical resources which should be serving Kenyans better and now we hear the president is sacrificing Kenyan infants as guinea pigs for Bill Gates human digital ID. This gentleman needs to be reminded to at least show some patriotism to the country, which so far he has failed to show!
@Kenyans GM. Islam still remains committed to the cause of Allah. Money is messing up Christianity. We did well when the priests made the pledge of poverty
President Kibaki formulated the "facing East" policy which we implemented as Kenya's ambassadors to the countries of the Orient. In China this was the beginning of meaningful engagement for economic prosperity.
