Almost every society that has amassed wealth has become 'RICH' by exporting.

- Dutch (16th Century)
- Ottoman Empire (17th Century)
- British (mid 18th-19th Century)
- China (20th Century)
- US (20th Century); they export dollars
- Even go back to India's golden age, India was a net exporter.

Some countries like Switzerland run trade surplus.

They also bring money via their banks (Swiss Banks) this basically serves the purpose of what EXPORTS does).

Same applies to countries like Monaco.

A more pertinent question to ask about India's economy would be: what will we export?

My bet would be human labour.

This sounds bad: but with the world ageing, this is likely to be India's #1 export.
