The MoU between KIIT and Femina Miss India was signed today in Mumbai, beginning our partnership for the grand finale of KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India, which will be held at the KIIT campus in Bhubaneswar this April.

Over the years, KIIT & KISS have worked with a simple belief — that when young women receive the right opportunities, they move forward with confidence and inspire society around them. I am happy that this association brings a national platform like Femina Miss India to our campus.

I express my sincere thanks to Mr. Vineet Jain, Managing Director of The Times Group, and Mr. Rohit Gopakumar, CEO of Times Network, along with the Femina Miss India team, for their trust in KIIT. I look forward to welcoming the participants to our campus and wish them all the very best for the journey ahead.

At KIIT, we have always believed that education goes beyond classrooms. It is about shaping confident individuals who can inspire society in every field. I am happy to share that the 61st Femina Miss India Grand Finale will be held at the KIIT campus in Bhubaneswar this April.

This association is meaningful for us because KIIT has always believed in women’s empowerment, and for the last 70 years Femina Miss India has stood exclusively for women, the participation of women and the empowerment of women. It has been my personal belief that when women move forward with confidence, society also moves forward. With nearly 50% girl students at KIIT and about 70% girls at KISS, we have always tried to create an environment where young women can learn, grow and lead with dignity.

Today, KIIT is signing an MoU for this partnership, and the MoU signing ceremony is going live at 3 PM from the Times of India office in Mumbai in the presence of Femina Miss India 2025 and many distinguished guests.

We are delighted to announce that KIIT has signed an Agreement with the School of Bionatural Medicine, London, to collaborate and mutually undertake a wide range of academic and professional initiatives.

Through this partnership, we will jointly conduct University programs, including Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD programs across various specialisations. We will also work towards integrating SoBM programs into our existing academic framework and co-delivering academic programs offered by both institutions.

In addition, our collaboration will extend to consultancy services, organising conferences and workshops, accreditation support and facilitation, as well as international certification services.

We believe this partnership will strengthen global academic engagement, promote interdisciplinary learning, and create enhanced opportunities for our students and faculty.

I was happy to see the 40 teachers who have come from the Royal Government of Bhutan spending time near the My Mother, My Hero sculpture on our campus 25. Many of them shared that the story moved them deeply and reminded them of their own mothers and the quiet sacrifices made for education.

For me, this book is not just a memory. It is a small expression of gratitude to my mother, whose strength and blessings have shaped my journey.
