I do expect $10,000 per ounce of gold based on a return to some sort of gold standard. If governments around the world were taking steps to avoid the monetary collapse, I might change my forecast and conclude we’re steering away from disaster because we’re enacting smart policy. In fact, I see the opposite. I don’t see smart policies, I see the collapse coming and leading to a much higher dollar price for gold in order to restore global confidence.
