@marinadpol Oh that makes sense! I didn’t intercal in med school, but it might be worth checking with your uni seeing as its sort of part of your medical degree? If not, I knoe many successful doctors who didn’t interval, so it won’t negatively impact your career. Still so hard though.

@marinadpol This is such a shame. I understand their reasoning, but seems so unfair. I always thought the fees for international students were ridiculous- why should they pay so much for the same education? Seeing as you began your degree before the Brexit, could you finish on original fees?

Dr Tony Holohan has served our country in a way that was nothing short of remarkable. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to fulfil such a challenging role, all whilst balancing such a difficult home situation. Thank you, Dr. Holohan.

@Rosemary_Murphy I studied hard and never let anyone discourage me- and I was so lucky to have got there first time. I recognise how lucky I was to still have the confidence to go for it and get there on my own. Your story is incredible Rosemary. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying your access cours
