@GHShuffle@GambitoAlter actually the manga relied on traditional 2d fighter concepts. As someone who recommended the manga to the people I play SF and Tekken with, I've seen the Tekken-only players not really get their brains tickled as much by the 2d concepts
@nofishbelow@TheGroovin@JurassicRabbit i think you're mistakening Mio for Tamaki who is the actual beginner in the main cast. Mio is heavily experienced in online play and this was her first game irl. Yu and Tamaki are actually the two characters who get the concepts explained to
@Heyitsamber99@Sapphicsnake_ "all this button mashing" and everytime they cut to a fightstick it's 100% accurate motion inputs and button presses 😭😭😭😭😭
I get the complaints about SF6 being jarring to see but you're yapping about a problem that doesn't exist
@xXdemig0d@d0nutalt it wasn't actually that long of a break. SF6 been out for 3 years so dropping after s1 or 2 is pretty viable to the story timeline
In the manga she played since "SF3" and dropped some time after SF5's release and then picked up SF5 again after a few months to a year
@CrazyAznKT see this is why watching for context is important.
It's a moment to throw the audience's expectations off. In the next round, Mitsuki realizes that Mio's gameplan is completely different and way more solid and that she's actually an insane player (both in mental and skill)
@Malatestus@ShaudL_ the first combo shown is literally 7 seconds long, in terms of actual time in match it's really short for today's games
now if you mean the amount of inputs, then sure, I get it, anime fighters and tag fighters just aren't what you're looking for, def try Virtua Fighter tho
@BrainlessGobln no spoilers but she's actually really cracked in a "psychopath DR mind games ryu" way and the first match was a false flag to just show that she's still a gorilla player at the end of the day
@Malatestus@ShaudL_ Have you tried Virtua Fighter? UNI II? City of the Wolves? Literally THIS Avatar Game?
Just bc you don't know it exists, doesn't mean it doesn't exist
@QwezerQ wrong country... The Raid is Indonesian and she's Filipina. You're actually going to get more references from Kali and Arnis which is practiced in the Philippines and known for quick knife movements
@BalazonNathan@sherryjenix@Crunchyroll ohhhhh did you see the movie already? Can you explain what was so bad and awful about it since you know more than the general public? Also what's stopping fans from being excited for both releases?
@xl_guinea_tea@larryislegend yeah you definitely weren't watching the league before he retired 😂
you'd remember how badly Kevin McHale was being criticized for "misusing Lin" if you did
you'd remember how he had a future with the Nets before his worst injury
you'd remember a lot if you watched back then
@Kingab_001@itzjaybonigga@unknown_th56007@DocStrangelove2 she paid for a SAFE experience and NOT to be thrown off without safety equipment due to negligence!
Same way people pay doctors to save their life without committing medical malpractice!
fixed that for you!
