Yes, because of a speech. Words are our means of communication, and words can hurt. Are you allowed to say anything you want to anyone? Are you allowed to insult anyone however you want? No, and that's a good thing, because we have rules that make our interactions better. Football is a game with rules. What would football be without rules? 11 against 11 without rules? Too many rules aren't good. But respect and courtesy are important, even in football. Society evolves, football evolves. Even dogs' brains should continue to develop.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: A few months ago in the Champions League, Gianluca Prestianni covered his mouth while saying something to Vinicius Jr.
It was never proven what he said, so the "PRESTIANNI LAW" was created: Any player who covers his mouth to say something to an opponent will be sent off, regardless of what was actually said.
Today, the Prestianni Law was applied for the FIRST time to Miguel Almirón, who covered his mouth while speaking to a rival during the World Cup and was shown a straight RED CARD. ❌
