WOW
Today Liberals voted 6-5 to shut off cameras at the Health Committee.
Conservatives wanted the Auditor General to investigate how $300 million was wasted on PrescribeIT.
The Liberal answer?
Kill the cameras.
Kill the transcripts.
Kill the investigation.
Carney promised he wouldn’t use his majority to shut down investigations.
That promise lasted exactly one week.
What are they hiding?
BREAKING!!!
Liberal Mark Carney just voted DOWN the Conservative proposal to scrap fuel taxes for the rest of the year.
Carney actually said in QP that Canadians were keeping up with higher prices and no new relief was necessary.
How out of touch can you be?
@MarkJCarney That is a laugh..... you have done zero to help ..... thanks for the 3 cents in savings! @MarkJCarney if you would like to help us, how about quit sending our money to Ukraine and Africa.... That would be a good start!
@JasminLaine_ I absolutely agree with you. It's just too bad that the east cannot see what is happening! Unfortuantly us that live in the west may just have a say finally!
Canada… your liberal government has told you:
You are going to have to suffer.
That nostalgia is gone.
Your life as you knew it is gone and he’s not letting it come back.
He has laughed and smiled while telling you you’re in denial if you don’t follow him… and encouraged you to vilify anyone who is against his governance.
He mocked a First Nations protestor saying “I can outlast her”.
He frequently uses fear based language like “rupture”, “hinge moment”, “dangerous”, “divided world”… while never giving examples as to what he means.
His answer to every problem is more government power, spending, and control.
He picks winners and losers and funds the outcome he wants through subsidies.
He says he doesn’t like democracy and how opposition can stall him from doing what he wants.
He wants ultimate power, without pushback.
He wasn’t even living in this country until just before he put his name in the ring.
He condemns America, while his entire income (outside of PM salary) comes from the USA. His family lives there. He and his children chose to go to school there.
His record is worse than Justin Trudeau (who he advised financially for years behind the scenes).
You’ve got to be kidding me…

This has to be the most cringe thing I have seen awhile! Can someone explain to me how two people who are married not walk hand in hand ? Not hands behind their back and the PM in front!
@mark_slapinski@mark_slapinski ....are you unhinged, really just asking for a friend? What team are you really playing for because what I have seen is nothing but BS
I’ve been thinking about these comments a lot…
“I’ve lost hope.”
“My vote doesn’t matter.”
“What’s the point?”
And I almost wonder… what if that’s exactly the outcome certain people are banking on?
Because here’s the pattern I’ve noticed: Conservative voters are often the first to feel betrayed.
The first to feel disillusioned.
The first to say “forget it.”
Not because they don’t care—but because they care so deeply and feel betrayed.
But here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Disengagement doesn’t punish politicians… It actually protects them.
Apathy is easier to manage than opposition. Cynicism is easier to control than participation. If you can convince people the system is broken beyond repair, they’ll remove themselves from it voluntarily.
Once that happens, the only voices left are the ones who never intended to leave.
You don’t restore a country by walking away from it. You don’t fix institutions by surrendering them.
You fix it by staying disciplined.
By staying involved, and refusing to let discouragement turn into withdrawal. Frustration is understandable. But giving up? Well… that’s a gift to the very people you’re upset with.
If anything, the moment you feel like your vote doesn’t matter… is the moment it probably matters most.
