@Nodragem ... added that captures the player, along with the existing animation that places them in the new location. Right now, the player simply disappears and visually teleports to the new position, it has no feedback
@Nodragem I think a drowning animation should be added to give the player feedback.
But if what you want is feedback that the mothership automatically teleports you before you die, in addition to a drowning animation (or maybe a nausea animation), a visual tp animation should be...
Pregunta a todos los compañeros #indiedev:
Tenía pensado sacar #Alonitaire este trimestre, pero no llego ni de coña a los 7.000 wishlist.
Merece la pena sacarlo?
Estoy hecho un lío.
I'm almost finished with #Alonitaire and wanted to release it this quarter, but without reaching 7,000 wishlist members, the release will be lost like tears in the rain.
I don't know how to get it.
Can you help me reach it?
@johnstejskal Ah, I see. Hopefully this year both countries will find the peace and prosperity they deserve. Stay strong, the music will be even better this time! 🙌
I have a confession. I'm always scared to share footage from my game. 5+ years solo dev will do that i guess...
So to fight this fear, here’s 5 minutes of raw gameplay from one of the first levels. No edits. No hiding!!
The game's called Blood And Mead, you can wishlist it on steam ( Link in reply⬇️)

Mesh2Motion can be used as a replacement for Mixamo. You all know my stance on Adobe and how important I think it is to move away from that company, so if you have anything to spare; please fund development on this. It's important for indies! (I donated $100)
This is my new game All Dice on Deck.
A roguelite - pirates - roll the dice - push your luck - adventure!
If you like it wishlist it on Steam: https://t.co/TamriLXFXh

Every indie dev is begging the algorithm for visibility right now. Steam Next Fest ends in less than 48 hours.
But honestly? I think Steam is trying to bury Alonitaire on purpose. And I kind of get it.
I started this code 10 years ago with my friend Antonio. After he passed, it sat in a digital basement until I finally finished it last year. But whatever woke up inside... isn't normal.
The game actively insults you, the rules break, and the cards remember too much. Maybe the algorithm is just trying to protect you.

To everyone playing the Alonitaire demo during Next Fest: I’ve been watching you. 👀
Many of you try to win Klondike fairly and get frustrated because you miss the 20+ hidden Sigils to "cheat". I hear you, and I take the blame: that's a flaw in my game design, not your fault.
To fix this, I went to Reddit to ask veterans for advice on signposting hidden mechanics... and their anti-spam bot instantly nuked my post for being a lurker. 🤖🫠
So I’m asking you here: how do you teach players they MUST break the rules without forcing a giant, boring tutorial on them?
ES/EN welcome.

@KryonHarts ....
This is the true story of how I lost a dear friend, almost lost myself, and ended up building Alonitaire.
They say code has no soul, but I’ve found a ghost living between the lines.
