This 9-5 lifestyle lol. Carry handbag, laptop bag, umbrella, pack sweatshirt, carry slippers to change after work, carry bottle, pack lunchbag, pack socks, etc. Pack everything you can for the day and the day you decide not to take one of things, you regret it😭.

The non HCWs in this quote are being a little unfair. No one is saying you shouldn’t come in for preventive treatment. The point is simply that, if it’s not an emergency, it’s best to come during regular working hours which is usually (8am-4pm) Monday to Friday🤷‍♀️

This is not the point of the tweet. The point is about people trying to milk it without good cause just because it is “HMO”.
When I was in private practice, most of what I was seeing on weekends and late hours had no business coming in at that time or coming at all.

There are less staff during this period and it frankly unhelpful when you now have critical patients and emergencies but you are burnt out from seeing people coming for “general body test” and “It has been a while our family treated malaria”.
