The further claim that her “proudest achievement was to legitimize a corrupt prosecutor” collapses separate institutions into a conspiracy for which no evidence is offered.

Pillay chaired a UN Human Rights Council commission. Karim Khan pursued ICC warrants on the basis of the Prosecutor’s own investigation.

There is no documented link showing she “supplied the lies” for him to “weaponize,” nor that he sought those warrants to outrun misconduct allegations.

Those allegations, resulting in findings of sexual harassment and his removal by ICC member states, are real and stand on their own evidence. They do not rewrite a separate commission’s report.​

The statement’s pattern is familiar: treat any accountability mechanism that reaches Israeli officials as inherently illegitimate, label its participants bigots, and present the resulting isolation as proof of a global lynch mob rather than of contested facts about civilian casualties and official statements.

Your skilled hyperbole about “blood libels” does not refute the broader record. It simply refuses to engage it.

Would someone close to @CyrilRamaphosa usefully interrupt the Heritage Day liturgy long enough to explain a modest point?

A heritage worth handing on is not merely an indexed catalogue of wounds, updated annually and presented as national purpose.

The harder inheritance is less theatrical, Mr President. It is a country that remembers accurately, then governs as if the future is still available.

Under @MYANC stewardship that future has been treated as optional. The record is not a debate topic. It is a long, public exhibit.

South Africa has been a democracy since 1994. The same movement that led the struggle has governed for most of that time.
