@fui5691 @TyronMiller7 @espn That’s not how it works. A team is selected. People actually beat other people and aren’t selected for team strength. They could have selected someone who would have been stronger in certain events. Gabby Douglas was selected last Olympics didn’t win a spot.

@noahgeld41 That was false. She did not have vertigo. If you knew gymnastics she had a replacement but they build a team around all around and individual strengths. They picked a team with each having a strength for the Team. So a replacement doesn’t bring the same specialties.
