@xtibarionx @Derangeddoomer And the armor and weapons are still relatively realistic and would function. Valiere's armor being a notable example of this. It is still fantasy plate, but it is well done and fits her character.

One of the mangas im reading right now "Teisou Gyakuten Sekai no Doutei Henkyou Ryoushu Kishi" is almost nothing but fan service, but everything in it still makes sense in the context we are given.
