@Merchini_@RocketBullets Seems like two most likely 100T dropped all the contracts of their players to end of this year so could be a sign that it’s them
People are saying this ruins the entertainment but they do realize this is a competitive sport where it’s the players jobs to win right. G2 already plays slow boring Valorant but they don’t care because it’s a great counter to other teams. They aren’t playing to please audiences.
It’s a strategy, it’s map design, how is it disrespectful to use the map to the full of your advantage, it’s their map pick after all is obviously something they prepped for. Banning it all together is stupid and there’s no way to determine accidental vs intentionally.
hot take? #VALORANTChampions
1) this is incredibly disrespectful to the sport, to the viewers, to the opponents and to the tournament organisers and should not be allowed by RIOT in the first place to jump off like that to deny a round.
Maybe it is actually not allowed and if thats the case, G2 should be fined.
But if this is actually allowed or wasnt predicted by RIOT in the first place, thats on RIOT.
I spoke about this potential problem out loud on day 1 of Abyss release.
2) i understand that this negates LEV of getting 1000 creds and 5 orbs for killing the G2 players
BUT i think this is literally trolling/throwing a round by G2. In VALORANT every round is winnable, every round is doable and you just robbed your team off that chance.
Not only that, LEV didnt have to use a single utility piece to win this round which saves shitton of cash, and didnt have to rebuy any shields.
If you wanted to troll this round, G2, at least do it properly and jump off after your opponents planted, so you would waste more time and make them use util.
We forgave them after Madrid because they didn’t have a lot of prep time to fit into an evolving meta and they seemed to have found their footing in split 2 but this last month has looked on par with what we saw last year which was a team without any clear direction.
Sentinels have won one map playing deadlock cypher against NRG. What are these guys seeing in scrims to feel confident enough to keep pushing this comp especially when you’re playing arguably the best in team in the world right now. (1/2)
