Infinity is really unfun. Like I was relieved I forgot my passport and couldn’t go to the CCQ unfun. Like I kinda want to not go to the hometown DLC unfun. Playing this game feels like pulling teeth right now.

@LorcanaGoons @BradenMTG There's a difference between using bans to try and optimize a great format and using bans to keep a format from being horrible.

YGO vs Magic ban philosophy - both are valid, but the casual player issue is definitely a thing to keep in mind.

@LorcanaGoons @BradenMTG IMO bans are usually bad because casual players showing up to locals and being told they cant play their cards is a bad thing.

When formats get as degenerate and unfun as infinity is right now, a ban is necessary for format health.

@LorcanaJustice @BKendrick727 for someone looking to make a living from tournaments this is ideal. History has shown from other games that that’s not a good way to keep competitive play alive long term. Need a small healthy amount of variance and parity.

I’m usually not the clamor for bans guy, but tramp is clearly the best card in the game by far, and the only thing keeping the game from seeing dogs with >50% meta share is the difficulty of the deck. Lorcana would be much more interesting without tramp.

It is time to emergency ban Tramp - Street-Smart Dog in all Lorcana formats. This ban should happen in the next week and be in effect for DLC Indy.

It is simply too powerful and format-warping at this point.

@pRayscream Ive had stretches where I was winning 85% of my games over a hundred game sample. It’s legit, you just gotta put the time in to understand it. (FWIW I’m doing the exact same thing with green steel rn. I do not mesh with the deck, need to spend more time figuring it out)
