My twitter account is 1000x wilder than I am in person. Don't take me too seriously. I use the RT button a lot. Views may/may not be my own Sonically intolerant

So Starmer feels "betrayed."
Good. His whole leadership was built on a betrayal of Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour membership.
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
This is so important to say. I wish it would apply to the pundit class as well. There is literally zero accountability for being dead wrong in Washington. Just witness the continued presence of certain think tanks and analysts in the public discourse. These zombie analysts need to be humiliated and called out. They need to be repeatedly publicly discredited. There needs to be a very aggressive campaign against them.
Apparently, Lamine was a bright-eyed boy until he held up a Palestine flag. Then, he became controversial.
The journalists who make a living romanticising athletes like Muhammad Ali are the first to punish those who try to use their voice for something meaningful today.
It's wild that the term "Free World" emerged in Western discourse in the 1940s, at a time when the Western European powers exercised authoritarian control over the colonised territories and the US was an apartheid regime with institutionalised racial segregation.
I’ve been reading a lot about Simon Nkoli of late. His coming out as gay during his imprisonment as part of the Delmas 22 in the 80s helped shift the ANC & broader liberation movement’s stance on discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. By the 90s, he & others lobbied directly for its constitutional protection, and it was. We do not honour him enough for the intersectionality of his anti-Apartheid work, and the need for the protection of human rights to continue to be thus.
The Iranian football team is only allowed to arrive in the US 24 hours before their matches and required to leave shortly after — despite all their matches being played in the US.
Imagine if this had happened to a North American or European team. There would be outrage. But in this situation, FIFA simply shrugs.
FIFA is a pathetic excuse for an international football organisation.
So if you apply this logic to the 4,000 citizens of Lebanon that Israel has killed in their invasion, you’d have to ask how the US would react to an invading force killing 235,000 Americans, many of them women and children.
You really don’t want to do this calculation for Gaza.
The home of Danish privacy activist Lars Andersen was raided by masked police forces after he published his 'two favourite numbers', a 10 digit and a 8 digit number, spelled out in letters; it were the social security and phone number of Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, who wants to ban encryption (CSA) and introduce mass surveillance.
"Rules for thee, but not for me..."
Let's see how people defend this one. No slurs. No insults. I want to know what part of making medicine more expensive for the world at large does in benefiting anyone that isn't in the 1%
Still can't get over the fact that the son of a Knick who lost out on a ring to the Spurs in 1999, avenged his father 27 years later for the same franchise, AGAINST the same franchise and then celebrated the championship parade with half of the 1999 locker room.
Magic.
