He didn’t claim to not have authority in disabling the PSN requirement. He stated that the sells and distribution of the game doesn’t fall under him because he doesn’t own the Helldivers IP.

He was authorized by Sony to disable the PSN before so everyone could play, but now Sony is enforcing the PSN requirement and causing all of this trouble.

Remember, he only has power that is *authorized* to him *from Sony*. The majority of people know this is Sony’s blunder. People looking at the devs just don’t know how business hierarchy works.
