Austin Hedges opened up about his personal faith journey this afternoon at the Cleveland Guardians’ Faith Day.
Hedges said he grew up in the church but walked away from his faith in 2021. This year, he felt called back — inspired in part by the faith and example of those around him in the clubhouse.

Kenny got saved his Junior year of High School and was baptized! God move in his heart in a special way!
It’s his testimony so I’ll let him tell it but this is who he’s been!
The day we moved back to Michigan, he came over, helped us pack the moving truck and just hung out! He’s been a solid role model for many young men, including my own sons who are now playing college football!
Very proud of you @Kenneth_Walker9

"What matters is your relationship with the divine, your relationship with your family, your kids, and maybe a close collection of friends, and your relationship with the truth."
So much wisdom and taken way too soon. Charlie Kirk will never be forgotten.
