Pittsburgh Zoo has agreed to trade 7-year-old male gorilla, Frankie, to Boston in exchange for 33-year-old silverback gorilla, Little Joe
Both trades were designed to 'provide a healthy, genetically diverse population of critically endangered gorillas in human care' 💯

@davidehrlich@lostincurrents@Pluuuut0@RemindMe_OfThis Huge respect for jumping back to this, David 🤝
Big fan of your work!
The reminder was originally made moreso as a personal note for myself to look back on, because they made sense for me at the time (hadn’t seen Bugonia yet) / wanted to see how the landscape would shift to now
Stellan Skarsgard uses his Golden Globes speech to advocate for movie theaters:
“In a cinema, where the lights go down and eventually you share the pulse with other people, that is magic. Cinema should be seen in cinemas”

@CyrilH44 Terrible distribution combined with it (an R rated movie) going head to head against the threequel to two of the biggest releases in movie history (Avatar)
Blame isn’t on it being an original film

The school’s new Marketing Head getting rid of the org was so beyond counterintuitive for the fans and goodwill that had been painstakingly built over the course of years.
And I can promise you- all those years combined didn’t cost $4500
This is just so disappointing to see. What a waste of $4,500 that could have been put into FSU Hoops’ NIL budget.
They had exactly what they are now looking for in @thenolezone. It was cheap and student-run by some of the most passionate fans at the school. (1/2)
Incredibly frustrating to see this post thinking about all the hard work put in by those who served on the Nole Zone board.
The Athletic Marketing Department made an incredibly short-sighted decision to collapse the organization and unsurprisingly has yet to determine a solution
There was a clear connection made with FSU’s students and fans all over the country- by the end of our first season, having run social for the org I was proud to see millions of impressions/incredibly high engagement per month.
Record number of home sell-outs. Rowdy atmosphere.
