5 things to do if you want to achieve long term goals.
It's worth it, but hard to believe our losses happen for a reason.
Crucial, but challenging to believe our setbacks are setups.
As a lifelong Michigan Football fan, I’ve been waiting 40 years for today's National Championship.
My uncle played at Michigan back in the day.
I've always been inspired by his experience.
Especially hearing Bo Schembechler moments.
None more memorable than
🏆 “Those who stay will be champions”
The last few years have been so full of setbacks.
For me, grief and loss.
For @UMichFootball loss and adversity.
This was not just victory on the field.
It ran way deeper than a game.
It was a mission.
A culmination of years of resilience.

Yet every setback seemed to strengthen their ability to create bigger moments.
When setbacks happen we can't imagine how this is possible.
All we can do is believe.

I have big goals.
I know you do too.
But maybe you can relate?
Every step forward seems to lead to another step back.

🎙️ Podcasting.
On one hand it's not that deep.
On the other hand, it reflects a greater truth about the human experience.
Adversity is not just a part of life.
It's a crucial element in shaping who we become.
Whether we like it or not.
Worthwhile wins are the result of years of learning from failure, and growing stronger in the face of defeat.
This is the essence of the hero's journey in all of us.
As we face challenges, we can emerge more prepared, determined and eventually, victorious
Once we succeed it will all make sense.
And "those who stay, will be champions."

*But it's hard to follow sometimes.
They all said my vision for JKL is great, but with a creative business I have to promise to trust that I'll get there without stressing about "how"
@ugmonk Sounds like an awesome intern, or coop kid who just loves to create micro content.
But my other reply about UGC with creators may be even better.
@ugmonk I had another idea
Take one notebook and ship it all around the world 🌎 to artists/writers.
And have them make some UGC of them filling up a page/ showing where the journal is.
Notebook Seen Around The World. @ugmonk
This has been the best "Money Making" business advice Ive received.
And
Its been from many different mentors.
Seems too simple.
(But I guess thats the point)
Scrolling other people's videos before posting your own is one of the quickest paths to procrastination.
To post more, carefree, simply make a list of your ideas, hit record, hit publish.
Sounds easy, but so many of us slow down, or develop "writers block" because we watch others instead.
