Fun fact: @netflix does not care if your credit card expires. If the credit card company doesn't decline the charge they will keep right on charging your card for literally years after the expiration date.
@Microsoft Just thought you'd like to know that the Copilot app now requires me to sign in to use it. I have uninstalled it in response, and switched to Gemini.
@DelTaco Please for the love of all that is Mexican train your tellers how to handle tostadas. I just got a bag handed to me in which the tostada box was basically vertical. And while this is the worst I've ever experienced, tilted tostadas are a regular occurrence.
Okay, @facebook . I gave you a week off to decide whether you would respect my instructions and stop showing me gross-out AI videos. You have chosen not to. So it appears that this last week is the new normal. No more ad revenue for you from now on. You brought this on yourself.
@SUBWAY Just thought you'd like to know your HORRIBLY misconfigured web server appears to ban customers who refresh the page too many times (too many appears to be 3). You just lost an order, and until you fix it you have lost a customer.
You have successfully creeped me out, @Microsoft. The start of Copilot's answer to my question: "Great question, Justin—and one that taps right into your retro gaming and audio synthesis interests."
If you pay off your credit card balance and then close your account at $0, @BankofAmerica will hold your account open until the point in the billing cycle they can charge you interest... on the balance you already paid off.
I would like to congratulate @BankofAmerica for their successful deployment of quantum computers in the financial sector, where credit card accounts can be in superposition of open and closed, $0 balance and non-0 balance.
Pro tip: if you use @Chase make sure you do NOT use paperless statements. They only allow you digital access to 2 years of transaction history and 7 years of statements. If you need information older than that...
I've been using (and programming) Windows as my primary OS for 30 years now because I've never had a compelling reason to sacrifice the level of convenience when all the apps are on Windows. This is a compelling reason.
A step in the right direction, but not yet enough. It needs to be FULLY UNINSTALLABLE. As a software and cyber-security engineer I will not feel safe having Windows with the Recall feature (the code itself, even "disabled") on my system AT ALL. https://t.co/oK65JpOkjq @Microsoft
Why does MS Copilot (via Edge) always terminate the conversation and say "It might be time to move onto a new topic. Let's start over." when I ask "What are dueling electors?" (and only that specific question), even when it's the first question of a conversation?@MicrosoftHelps
Okay, that's just bizarre. I tried it one more time, but accidentally copied and pasted the quotes around the question. It answered that. But when I removed the quotes, it again terminated the conversation.
@d4rk_0men @ak_blueprints@Poufee1233@rabidrodent The irony is that this is one of the extremely rare cases where an l/r pair in English have the same meaning (clash and crash can both mean a loud sound).
I can't say it's an encouraging start to my #KaiserPermanente coverage that in response to the very first thing I did under that coverage I had to file a grievance to try to get them to honor their own stated policies.
