The Sheldon council is in closed session so I'm not watching but
Charlie and Ty watched GOT live. I watched GOT 2 years after it ended. These two kept telling me how amazing this episode was. They were right, it's one of the greatest TV episodes of all time
#whoownsthenorth
In one hour (5:30 p.m.) @Rushthewriter and @CEHildebrand are watching the Battle of the Bastards episode of GoT for AMS.
They'll use #WhoOwnsTheNorth.
It will be the last AMS for a couple weeks after we get some vacation in. So we're going big again.

Anyway, it's 11:45, I should go home and wind down.
Maybe I will put this into a political column in this weekend's REVIEW.
Because as a former sports editor and mostly action movie tweeter ... I should totally do a political column, right?
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Remember, everyone took their shots at Feenstra but he didn't really take shots at his opponents and he was given the chance to time and time and time again (even by me).
Which makes me kind of wonder ... if Feenstra has a chance to be Lahn's Lt. Gov. candidate? Not sure ...
In the end it was messaging. Lahn was able to deliver his points and think on the fly and I think that's what got Feenstra. He's always been good for me to reach out and talk to but it's the same talking points every interview.
Did the lack of debate hurt Feenstra? I don't know because I don't know if it helps because he has the same talking points since he announced, so I think debating would hurt him as much as not debating? If debating helped ... Steen would've had better than 15 percent ...
I also didn't think it was going to go to convention, I thought Lahn and Feenstra would both get at least 35 percent and outpace the field. I was at a Steen event last week and there were 13 people there in deep red N'West Iowa. That's not the response needed, so he was cooked
I thought the race was going to be close between Feenstra and Lahn the past week and if it wasn't for Trump's endorsement, I would've maybe leaned Lahn seeing the support he had been getting. Trump had a nice record coming into tonight lately, but the endorsement was too late
OK, I'm back in the office after being in Hull (only a 20-minute drive for me, closer than many others, I was a bit spoiled there).
I know 90 percent of my tweets nowadays are for @SaturdayAction with @Rushthewriter and @CEHildebrand
But allow me to do some political reflecting
Feenstra congratulated Lahn during his about 3 minute speech, which included a prayer at the end. Shook some hands, got some hugs, didn't take questions after and has left The Grain House here in Hull.
Have heard Zach Lahn isn't shown up at his party yet so like Feenstra, think he's waiting it out before making an appearance. I can understand, can be a tense night.
What if this comes down to absentee ballots ... irony?
We are also at 95 percent and Feenstra is trailing by 0.8 percent, which is 1,600 votes. It's going to be very tough to make up with 5 percent so far, but not impossible. Feenstra's crowd is thinning out a bit, but it is also 10:20 p.m.
In other N'West Iowa results, Lynn Evans is going to keep his state Senate seat in District 3 with 70 percent of the vote over Shane Bellefy. If you lived in that district, you have enough mailers to keep your bonfires lit all summer ... Bellefy's team put some money into it
I’m at the Feenstra gathering tonight. It’s a tight race with him a Lahn, but the key thing is we haven’t seen Feenstra here at The Grain House in Hull yet. Some of his family is here but not him.
@Rushthewriter@CEHildebrand Netflix asked me if it was not for me, if I liked it or if I loved it.
I picked Loved It.
If you just gave me the arcade fight and the waterpark fight, that alone does it for me. But all of the other fights were so well done
It's a role I never thought i needed for Odenkirk
