STUDY: How are #MichiganState’s transfer portal departures doing for their new teams this year?
@C_Robinson247 has nearly 3,000 words on the matter, with some guys taking steps forward and other guys doing more of the same.

While the season hasn't gone exactly as anyone had hoped or planned, plenty of top @MSU_Football recruits and targets continue to praise the Spartans.
"The future is bright."
"They have been recruiting me hard."
"I love what Coach Fitz and the coaching staff are building."

MSU moving the ball successfully slightly above average, but behind their peers in terms of explosives.
leaning more towards this being a dudes problem and not a schematic issue
@PHLEaglesNation McKee has been fine other than the INT and the miss on the 1st play of the 2 min drive.
Milton was a brutal passer in college. Least accuracy thrower I’ve ever covered. High schoolers on this app gotta get over his arm strength.
In other news: Former #MichiganState OC Jay Johnson has been named Oregon’s offensive playcaller for the rest of the year, per Dan Lanning.
MSU’s offense ranked 131st in PPG in his last season in East Lansing. He gets another chance.
Fitzgerald talked about this in postgame appearance on Spartan Media Network
Said something to the effect of “had the guy we wanted. He went to the field hasn’t done that all week in practice. We don’t work that for a reason.”
@big_business_ He doesn’t get a single call. And you’d think refs would respect him because he usually tries to avoid contact on his layups instead of baiting (but still always gets hacked and still never gets the call).
@MoneybaggMSU@maxwellklitzke Their QB1 didn’t last half the season in 2023, their QB1 in 2024 didn’t make it to conference play, their QB1 in 2025 didn’t make it past the first series (and then QB2 got knocked out for the season shortly after too).
“Dumb money” obviously means how big of an amount it was, as in stupid money. Not how smart the investment was or wasn’t. That’s clear with the context too. No need to be deceptive, especially since you have the other receipt.
As for the other tweet, I would probably still trade him for Eck. But still, will own that was a spur of the moment mid-game tweet that probably was harsh.
The time part was completely critical. They didn’t just throw money at the problem before the core was built properly with the homegrown guys like Posa, Catalano, OL and overall roster depth.
And if they would’ve fired Fickell despite brutal injury luck (which all fans just ignore), then they wouldn’t even any of this, including the proper investment (which is because of him, as donors don’t want him to get fired).
@JD_Jerbear The same app had people calling for “Cade” Coffman to replace AM last week. But even though they can’t spell the “better” option’s name, I’m sure they know the QB room inside & out.
