@shrediiknight@kelsey_surmacz4@HunterHodies lol like turnovers and bad pims? Malkin does a ton of good and for 1 yr it’s not a huge deal but clenching onto nostalgia doesn’t win games. No one can argue that he can take horrible pims and suspensions plus turns the puck over all over the ice with minimal back pressure
@logopatt Nill hangs up on you with that offer lol 32nd overall, a guy with top 6 potential and 1 yr of a #4 D that’s soft for a bonafide top pairing young D signed long term lol
@kelsey_surmacz4 He also largely played 3rd line minutes with a revolving cast of linemates and minimal pp time bc pp1 plays 80% of it. The production will come and it’s incredible he’s been as impactful as he was at 18 especially after being picked outside of the top 10!
@_j_a_k_e_d That’s what happens when your cores avg age is 40. They’ve given the stars their last shot and they’ve proven they can’t keep up and compete with young legs. Time to let 71/58 move on keep building for the future. It’s great they even made the playoffs this year to begin with.
@justinxerri @Steve_Dangle@jtbourne It’s also interesting that he hasn’t been a GM in 6 yrs and in that time Dubus was unemployed for approx 1 day then signed a multi yr deal and will likely win a GM of the year lol
I kinda like the idea of Chayka tbh I just thought the nickname was hilarious.
@JoshYohe_PGH I guess with the way they need to generate offense they need size on every offensive line, otherwise they would just reunite Mantha & Brazeau
@HunterHodies Maybe this is why you can’t build around aging stars, Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Karlsson, Rust all invisible tonight. They can’t keep up with the pace or the level of physicality. Glad Dubus did sell the future for this…
@RitchieSzn_34@spittinchiclets Kadri forced his own way out of town by never being dependable enough to finish a playoff series and constantly sewered his team with bad pims. People forget that almost everyone wanted him gone. Just too bad the return was so brutal.
@PenguinsJesus Ridiculous take, Silovs just came off an AHL playoff mvp run and has some playoff experience already, Skinner has piles of playoff experience. There not throwing Murashov into a playoff run when the goalies who helped them put up a possible 100 pt season are healthy.
