A trove of new regulations were proposed to the ESA program without the school choice community participation, and behind closed doors. As of last night, most members (if any) didn’t even have the language of the legislation but proceeding regardless.
Facing an uprising it was stalled, but we’ll see what happens today.
@MerissaCaldwell@SteveMontenegro@EZAZorg@votewarren This was occurring last night. This seems to have been orchestrated by GOP leadership with no transparency to the school choice community.
Demand answers this morning as to why.

BREAKING: WATCH the full 60 Minutes CECOT segment here. This was sent to me anonymously. It appears to be the segment CBS' Bari Weiss killed.

I think he’d do a good job as AG. He’s been a longstanding solid vote.
With the GOP, I feel all the candidates are in an unusual position, with the face/head of the party having jumped the shark so hard. There’s a lot of real work to be done, and that has to be done despite the president’s latest whim.
I appreciated the Indiana lawmakers laying down the law last week. I’d like to see their courage encourage others to take a stand. Of course, Turning Point is threatening to send folks to work to replace all of them, so who knows how that will play out.
For the moment, the president seems to be setting the tone for the rest of the right. That could change, and I hope it does.
