My Heat Takes

Erik Spo’s future with this team has to be looked at because he’s been bad at his job these past few years. He’s got these ass rotations, game plans, and almost everything else.

Tim Hardaway Jr. gotta take off his daddy’s jersey and stop disrespecting my franchise. Hopefully he gets waived.

Klay Thompson is just not the player we thought he was. When our commentators talk about Klay, all we can say is that he’s a “top 3” shooter in the NBA, with no actual good performances from him.

Pelle or Conwell have to take that starting SG role. They contribute more to this team.

It’s crazy Bam and Giannis aren’t so productive when sharing the court together. When Giannis sat on the bench we almost made a comeback and then he came back we lost. Giannis can drop 30 points, but does it contribute to winning?

My thoughts from tonight’s game:

- Playmaking is STILL an issue. Our guards struggled to bring the ball up the court, which cuts into the time we have on the shot clock to actually run a set. We still need a true playmaking PG who can control the pace and get everyone involved.

- Klay/THJ are disappointing me so far. You would think they’d turn things around after Game 1, but here we are. That THJ airball three and missed free throw off the technical was a shotgun to the chest. Klay just throwing stuff up there with no real rhythm was ridiculous, too.

- Davion, Pelle, and Bobby were the only guys besides Giannis who were bringing consistent energy and effort. I still believe Davion would be great coming off the bench and providing a spark for that second unit.

- THIS DROP COVERAGE SHENANIGANS HAS TO STOP. Why are Bam and others dropping so far off Cade Cunningham? The defensive effort looked terrible, and we gave him way too much room to operate. Something has to change.

- Bam Adebayo HAS to get it going. Yes, I understand it’s only Game 2, but man, the expectations are high, and he hasn’t shown nearly enough so far. Tonight’s performance was rough. No way around it.

- Spo’s coaching through these first two games has been HORRIBLE. Just standing there with his hands in his pockets like Darvin Ham. The adjustments have been questionable, and the team looks completely out of sync.

Overall, all we can do is move forward. It’s still early in the season, but these issues need to be addressed ASAP. We can’t keep making the same mistakes and expect different results.

#Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr. has been charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession, per @FOX59.

Richardson was pulled over on Oct. 12 for an expired registration. He told police he had smoked marijuana in the vehicle and had a small amount inside, according to court documents. Police found a jar containing marijuana and an opened bag of THC-infused gummies.

The charge was filed Monday.
