The fact that people are really saying @ishowspeedsui’s World Cup song is better than @shakira’s is exactly why the world doesn’t take our soccer culture. Just stick to the NFL songs and leave the World Cup alone.
Chicago Bears trading Roquan Smith and Justin Fields prepped me for losing DJ Moore and Jaquan Brisker
The days of Chicago Bears building a team and retaining their guys are gone..
No longer are teams bonding over the course of 10 years
Dudes are not even seeing their 2nd contract with the team..
Why Bears fans hate Black Ditka
I will protect to the players who are the heart of this team
Even if it pits me against my own organization, fans, or peers
The way Bears fans are disrespecting Moore, Odunze, and even players like Brisker is unacceptable
But it isn’t new..
They did the exact same thing towards Fields.
They have been doing this for years! Finding a scapegoat from the players..
Jaquan Brisker had the best game he could’ve possibly had!!!
Moore and Odunze are the main reasons we even made it to this game
Bears fans, stop deflecting blame and call it what it is!
Our players don’t deserve it
Futbol is much more demanding/difficult from a technical/quality standpoint to be successful individually, when done the right way it’s damn near artistic.
If we’re being real, this isn’t a Black vs. White thing. Caleb Williams was billed as a generational talent as ‘best QB prospect in a decade.’ Comparing that to Dart without acknowledging the context just isn’t accurate, it’s also dividing. @SuaKCravens
Btw, Caleb had almost 1000 more yards his rookie year and only 1 more interception and was called a “bust” for an entire offseason… Now the same stat line is “impressive”. Look I’m a fan of both Dart & Williams. Both played at USC, so I got love for em and want them to do well… But the blatant selectiveness and picking and choosing when a player is celebrated vs when he’s hated on is pretty telling!
Troy Aikman is absolutely right
This is how it’s supposed to go..
1. Team has long term head coach and has established vet Qb
2. Rookie QB learns on the pine with clipboard in hand. Learns the offensive philosophy of the head coach
3. Rookie finally plays and it’s ugly for 1-3 years
4. Talent gets added each year, as team chemistry and experience takes over
5. Year 4-5 you see what you got
Chicago Bears made Fields experience all the lows without giving him a chance with a real team.
3 years of hell !!
Bears ruined that man career and gave everything he earned in blood away to another QB
Steps were skipped and that’s why Bears went 5-12 and cleaned house
Johnson had to build the OL inside and out. Something that has been needed forever!
Johnson had to clean things up and I’m glad to see Bears finally get the right coach to develop a QB
I just know Fields deserved this chance too…
Haters can keep hating, but anyone who knows ball knows Nahshon Wright was snubbed…
- 5 INT
- 1 pick six
- 11 passes defended
- 2 forced fumbles
- 3 fumble recoveries
- 67 total tackles
- 3 tackles for loss
Justin Fields: Job is not finished
This season will go down as Justin Field’s greatest Work according to his Faith.
I always knew Justin Fields was a special player and man, but I had no idea how rooted this brother’s faith was.
Out of all the years of adversity he has faced in his young career, his time as a Jet was the toughest!
Bears team owner fired his HC and GM year 1
Steelers benched him for winning 4-2…
Jets team owner destroyed him in the media and forced HC to bench him
We as believers have to understand that this Life isn’t fair, but God is.
He will allow you to be tested so that your faith could reveal God’s strength within you.
Fans of Fields thought following Aaron Glenn to New York would truly work out
But we have seen, under pressure and wickedness, righteous man fall.
Aaron Glenn betrayed his brethren like Judas under the pressure of his owner.
In adversity, we may ask God why?
But it’s not our job to question God. We are to believe and have faith in him through it all.
Justin Fields glorifying God through it all this year tells me that Justin Fields is a generational leader and believer. He will do great things, even if this league doesn’t allow him to.
He will not fold for no man, no matter how powerful or wicked they are.
If his path is for him to play football, I will follow him and support him.
I don’t care if it is NFL, CFL, or if he becomes the next Fritz Pollard and creates his own league where black Americans can actually become owners of the sport they put on the map.
I will support my brother Fields through it all.
Because his walk with God mirrors Joseph & Job, the NFL is just a job.
He plans to do God’s work in Africa this summer. The fruit of the spirit will always reveal who is God’s chosen.
So be it…
Where to next for Fields: Case for ATL Falcons
You’ve shot all of your shots at QB and nothing is clear as of yet.
Go sign the hometown kid and pair him with his best friend Kyle Pitts and Darnell Mooney
Build the trenches and allow Fields, Robinson, and Allgeier to lead the way
Allow Drake London to blossom as a deep ball playmaker
Bring Fields home to ATL and he will prosper
Where to next for Fields: Case for Miami Dolphins
Miami is where Fields trains every offseason
He’s worked with Daniels before
The offense fits his talents like a glove!
Miami’s offense needs a QB that can make plays on his own when the coverage plays out perfectly.
Give Fields a lane and he will house call it, as he has done to Miami multiple times
Give Fields the WRs and coach he deserves
South beach?!
