@CreoleComrade People have definatly gotten ruder, in my subjective opinion. I blame the "you don't owe anyone anything 🥰" toxic self-care attitude that has been on some social media sites for a while. Or some people are just rude.

Finally did "Scarowinds", a horror theme event at a local amusement park. I've come so far, I'm so brave!!!

(I was terrified of anything Halloween growing up [like, even into high school], this was a big step for me!)

@whotfisjovana Yup. The bright, fake plastic colors, black hole of nutrition and cheap production leaves nothing of value. As a kid you don't know how all that intersects to make a gross product cause you don't know better.

(Not to mention the animal abuse involved in a lot of these)

@aliciaandrz Encourage their privacy, and honesty.

If a bad situation happens, be a source that reduces stress and makes them more comfortable, not more stressed out.
Ex)car wreck. Pick them up, walk them through the insurance process. Don't make them feel bad about it as much.

1) Be able to have disagreements, without making it an argument
2) deep talks from a young age. My mom would tell me about some of the "drama" issues at her school (counselor) and I feel like i learned a lot and got closer from those talks.

Getting emotional in this restraunt that's playing "Good Luck Babe". An explicitly queer song with an explicitly queer theme is mainstream enough to play in restraunts and stuff. Our society has come so far in regards to accepting gay people, I rarely stop and think about it...

Sorry to be old n annoying but.. Is no one gonna talk about how galaxy gas came out of no where and is being MASS marketed to black children? the government is doing NOTHING ? .. since when are we selling whip its at the store ???? Somebody protect the children.
