Easy way to cut down on spam/scam calls if you’re on iPhone:

Go to Settings ➡️ Apps ➡️ Phone ➡️ Screen Unknown Callers ➡️ Select “Silence”

Calls from numbers you don’t know will be silenced and sent to voicemail. They’ll still show up in your recent calls, so you can check later if it was legit.

IMO using the Silence option is best paired with a voicemail that has no sound to DRAMATICALLY lower the level of calls you get.

When I say silent voicemail I literally mean recording a voicemail and saying nothing, makes the scammer or spammer think the number is a dud.

I realized the rejections from Valentine PR always bothered me. I understand I have been rejected and will not get an ARC/ALC, but still sending me promo info on the book I was rejected from is rude to me. I’m not good enough to get the book, but good enough to promote.

In the book world I feel the Content/Street team don’t always get the attention they deserve. The ARC team automatically gets an advanced copy of the book while people on Content teams are doing more marketing of the book, and don’t always even get a chance for an ARC.
