Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba is a 25-year-old widow who lost her husband, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (popularly known as Mohbad) in 2023, when she was just 23 years old, and mother to a five-month-old baby.
Since then, this young grieving widow has faced relentless harassment, intimidation, defamation, and cyber-bullying from individuals exploiting her tragedy for attention and control.
Despite her silence and cooperation with lawful investigations, the attacks have not stopped.
Now, she’s speaking out, calling on the authorities especially the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG the National Cybercrime Centre @NPF_NCCC and the Federal Ministry of Women @FMWA_ng to take note of the pattern of cyber-stalking, intimidation, and abuse of privilege she’s endured.
Her full statement is attached below.
She deserves peace, justice, and protection, not persecution.

A former actor Yomi Fabiyi has released new videos making serious claims about the Mohbad investigation.
He alleges the Lagos State Government “concealed” the original stab-wound report and that both the state & police compromised the case.
He further claims that FCID Abuja obtained the “original file,” matched it with a short video clip said to come from Mohbad’s brother, and used that to justify a so-called “harmonisation order.”
These are weighty allegations. We call on @PoliceNG@NPF_NCCC@PoliceNG_CRU the NPF cannot continue to look away. We call on @BenHundeyin it’s time to Act. We’re saying something because we’re seeing something! The time to ACT is now, this level of manipulation is ALARMING.
While Mr. Aloba is busy making public threats and claims he simply has no legal power to enforce, Mrs Omowunmi Aloba is doing everything by the book. She’s responding with documentation, not drama. With law, not intimidation.
@RiversTrending@dammiedammie35 The silence of the Police continues to fuel speculations, conspiracy theories and cash-out from a Bandit turned fugitive in the person of Yomi Fabiyi.
He absconded the moment he got invited by the police!
@RiversTrending@dammiedammie35 There’s been proper investigation, even the alleged 3 seconds video, however the Police need to be transparent at this point. Shall we resume our campaign to call out the Police? Yomi throwing tantrums is to evade arrest. Manipulation at its worst!
@RiversTrending@dammiedammie35 “His accusations need to be challenged properly, not just with silence” I totally agree with you! Yomi facing reality of the truth that has been clarified to him will take donations away! and the authorities need not be silent either!
They’re all paid agents, I don’t believe anyone will deliberately continue to peddle falsehood in the face of evidence that supports the truth while they have none to corroborate their Propaganda!
Go n look 4 job,4rm both autopsy was der anytn suspicious??at least d father did his own privately.was d guy strangled/stabbed/poisoned?bt ur ally claimed his neck was broken wich both autopsy says otherwise,d 1st claim was dat he was stabbed till date no sign of dat on his body
@AsakyGRN Unfortunately, @PoliceNG continue to leave the imprint on our minds that they don’t care. Even with the caption of “If you see something, say something” on @BenHundeyin profile, he’s yet to sort it. Here in the Uk, you see it, say it, it gets SORTED!
When power becomes a weapon to silence women, from Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan to Omowunmi Aloba, and now Regina Daniels we must ask:
Is the Nigerian Police Force a protector of citizens or a shield for powerful men?
Love is not by force.
Intimidation is not justice.
This abuse of power must end. 💔
