i've started hating this reset bullshit so fucking much.

- so i have a reset coming on Sunday anyway, with about 30% left.
- they announce that the reset will happen on Friday @ 10 am.
- ok, i don't want to lose my 30%, so i spin up Astra and use it for some big refactoring work i was planning to do over the weekend.
- there's no reset @ 10 am because their compute power probably can't handle it right now, so they just go completely silent.

devday finally killed openai. very happy. this dots stuff seems like codex but inefficient and trash. we got some random other stuff nobody will use like space or whatever. sol 6.1 is mid. lets hope it has a better base than 6 sol. btw it doesnt roll out in chatgpt. >>opus 5.5. and then astra ultrafast. did anybody ask for this? probably they hope some enterprise customer forgets that they selected it. and lets dont forget about the 500$ plan. call me stupid but i would have started by fixing the plus plan. wow this is the worst devday ever. respect to the team. i had some (delusional) wishes: gpt 6o, astra 6,1, 2x limits. openai bros are fucked.

Stop stealing our Codex quota with these surprise hard resets!!!

Not everyone burns 100% of their usage immediately and waits for a reset. Some of us actually plan our quota around real work. (& have multiple AI providers or accs)

I had ~60% usage left and A surprise reset means losing that saved usage nd pushing the next reset another 7 days away.

That’s not a free reset for everyone right?? for some it’s literally less usage.

If OpenAI launches some insanely expensive tier, makes the cheaper tiers worse with bad limits, merges Chat into ChatGPT Work / Codex, and the overall experience gets worse because of it, then the solution is pretty simple:

I’ll cancel ChatGPT and move to other AI tools that actually work for me and don’t make me feel like a second-class user.

(As much as I love ChatGPT, I’m not an idiot.)
