Playoff Baseball has HUGE implications for the Coaching, Performance, and Medical Staffs 🔥
Something that isn’t commonly talked about externally are Playoff shares (Bonuses) which can total up to $500,000 (Astros Last Year)
This type of money is big for players BUT potentially life changing for staff members
Here’s how it works:
- There is a Closed door, Player Only meeting (Led by Vets) to determine what players and staff receive Full and Partial “Shares”
- These shares come from the MLB Playoff Pool consisting of 60% of ticket sales from the first ~half of games from each series
- In 2022, this Total was 107.5 Million
Here is the Breakdown of each share from last year: (Total # of Shares voted on by players of the Team)
Astros: $516,347 (59) Phillies: $296,255 (72) Padres: $152,709 (70) Yankees: $145,820 (72) Guardians: $45,795 (60) Braves: $44,878 (60) Mariners: $42,221 (69) Dodgers: $36,148 (82) Cardinals: $10,351 (63) Blue Jays: $10,007 (68) Mets: $9,480 (68)
This is something that Staff never takes for granted and is incredibly thankful for as it can be life altering money
Coaching, Performance, and Medical Staffs are so grateful for the Veteran players who stand up for the staff as each share they add decreases each share’s value
@MagnitudeSN @CoachLinstaedt Got the footage of the game from a family who recorded it, thank you broadcasting legion baseball.
However, it makes sense why you pulled the game down. Unprofessional comments like this throughout the game w/ clear bias. Im sure “copyright” was the reason the game got pulled.
@MagnitudeSN Following up on this.
Would love a copy of the game to share with family/alumni as well as scouts who are interested. Look forward to follow up and appreciate the broadcast.
@cclemenson12@CaseyMulholland Would be more interested in seeing what the 1/4 who verbalized pain were doing outside of pitching activity wise. As well, where they feel “pain” plays a huge factor. To say “pitch counts dont work” is anover simplification of a complex topic.
@cclemenson12@CaseyMulholland Well said Clem, this study demonstrates normal anatomical adaptions that happen throughout the season. Most of them are to be expected with throwing it would be more odd to not see them as the body is incredibly adaptable.

This past spring, I kept infield data for our regular season in hopes of improving practice structure, confirmation/refutation of my current teaching practices, and trends in error probability based on a number of factors. A thread 🧵... #StreetsInfield

Strrrrriike! Congrats to Daniel Brito on a triumphant return to
Frontier Field after he collapsed during a @RocRedWings game last year. As he threw out the first pitch, he was joined by our Neuro ICU team that helped saved his life.
