I’m currently long $BTC and $ETH from just below current price levels. The market’s recent stability suggests absorption — supply being quietly taken off the market.

Gold just ripped past $4,000.

Here’s what it means for crypto:

Wall Street is calling it the “great debasement trade.”

Institutions and retail are piling into hard assets (gold first, Bitcoin increasingly) to hedge against money printing, high debt levels and lowering interest rates.

Now gold is the clear first-mover in this debasement trade.

It's up 21% in the past 34 days – that's an enormous move for the world's largest asset.

Historically, Bitcoin lags gold by 60-100 days.

Gold started ripping end of August.

So, a 60-day lag would mean $BTC begins to rally at the end of October, and a 100-day lag means BTC rips at the beginning of December.

And when it does, quality alts won’t sit still either.
