We all remember AJ Brown causing fumbles by running into the pulling player. Would we ever see a Philly Special by Nick? Probably not. Maybe a flea flicker??????

@EaglesXsandOs I think you are right if it is a single read option route it would be easy for Jalen to focus as a 2nd or 3rd read as the option would have been committed earlier in the route concept so when he gets to it the decision has been made. Thank you! Love your work!

@EaglesXsandOs Is this due to Jalen or scheme or both? The one I remember was during Tampa 2 years ago when Jalen threw a pick when Swift chose which side to run. Haven't seen it since in any sense of frequency.

@KimSanity45 @Trepoundddd @ZBerm Agreed. They are a good defense. I feel somewhat optimistic as a negadelphian as I can be. We been some tough teams. Lost to a good team. We have more hard games ahead. Giants/Vikings may be a good cure all before we play GB.

However, injuries and general regression to the mean have been the story this season. We were spoiled. Need to level set our expectations on go forward!

@Trepoundddd @KimSanity45 @ZBerm This has been an ongoing theme since Siriani has been the coach. Its the system. Jalen whether we like it or not is a system QB and his coach/OC tailor plays to him and his skills. Its why when Tanner McKee is in it looks so different.

@poeticlove1989 @ZBerm There are some layers and flood concepts but some are run poorly or are anticipated easily. This is Jalen's offense. Like every QB they know what they like. In our case they just hope our talent can make it work. Not all is Jalen's fault but our execution is bad right now.

@KimSanity45 @ZBerm Agreed. He can do it but it feels at times a receiver is coming open that he will turn down. I think I look at Kelce/Mahommes when I think option routes. They know the leverage of the defense and can play in and out of structure. I just have never seen a receiver run into it.

@ZBerm Do you get the sense that this offense is devoid of option routes which would allow the WR/TE/RB to exploit a zone or if we have more than one audible based on what Jalen sees. How many times do we see the WR run into the defense and give up.
