Too many trainers post inflated numbers, and it makes no sense.
Our job is to develop athletes and put them in the best position to succeed.
Misrepresenting data only hurts the athlete and undermines the entire process.
Young coaches trying to break in:
Be early.
Be prepared.
Be humble.
Outwork expectations.
You can learn systems.
You can’t teach work ethic.
The equation is simple - but too many want instant gratification without putting in the work.
The private sector allows us to prioritize the individual athlete without team bias. I don’t control playing time, game plan, etc.
This leads to purely objective decisions rooted in what’s truly best for the individual.
