In early-stage lung cancer, timely surgical care matters. Delays beyond 8 weeks are associated with:
- Higher risk of recurrence
-Higher mortality

Addressing patient, system, and societal barriers can improve outcomes for patients with early stage lung cancer—making timely surgery a shared priority.
