I think the massive target on Beadle's back from our fans is so uncalled for. He's been at fault for some extremely poor goals but if you don't expect any mistakes from a TWENTY ONE y.o GK then you're mad. I think he's already improved this season and can get better still #bcfc

I'm seeing a lot of people questioning the figures in this deal but it seems really smart to me. Not committing to signing the player and gives them a reason to prove themselves. It's a lot of money but I'm sure we'll be throwing it at Girona if this guy turns out to be class

Knighthead completes Birmingham City Football Club acquisition.

Knighthead Capital Management LLC (“Knighthead”) is pleased to announce that through its affiliate Shelby Companies Limited (“Shelby Limited”), it has completed the acquisition of the remaining 51% of shares of Birmingham City Limited owned by ZO FUTURE GROUP (formerly Birmingham Sports Holdings Limited). Shelby Limited will now hold 96.64% of Birmingham City Limited (“Birmingham City”), which holds 100% ownership of Birmingham City Football Club Limited and Birmingham City Women Football Club Limited.

Shelby Limited will continue to be solely responsible for all the operations of the Club.

Thomas Wagner, Chairman of Birmingham City Football Club and Co-Founding Managing Member of Knighthead said: “This transaction is another important milestone for Knighthead and Birmingham City Football Club. Transformation has taken place across every aspect of the Club’s operations since our initial investment and it’s just the beginning. Later this month we will unveil our new stadium design which will be at the heart of East Birmingham’s Sports Quarter. The ambition for our Club is to be a beacon of excellence for Birmingham on the global stage. The journey to deliver this is well underway.”

@jackowenn8 He's got good qualities with his pace, height and strength, but when he came on against Liverpool is was very evident he lacks a smooth technique/touch and looked very clunky. Could be down to match fitness, could be down to lack of ability but who knows when he plays so little

@ben_flavelle It made absolutely no sense for us, but i think Bielik didn't want to sit on the bench as 4th choice CB and 2nd choice DM. Still sitting on the bench at Baggies as 3rd choice though 🤷‍♂️ my presumption is we've had a CB signing go tits up which has made it look a worse decision

@BCFCLegionAndy @SopranoDavis Those guys may be late 20s, but imagine the kind of younger player we could bring in next year to challenge them in the squad. I'd never imagine we would have enough money to splash for every position in one window, it's got to be done over a few windows

For his experience and our lack of central midfield depth - I'd take him on the basis that he gets paid if he's fit and available. So long as it doesn't push Leonard out the door, then it's a smart move. STILL need DM cover, though. #bcfc
