also for the first time, I left the stage art assets to someone else to draw instead of doing it all on my own for once, so I can focus more on the dev side, and holy wow they did an amazing job

@itsamecyrus gimp is always a great one to start with! I'm not exactly an artist, but it's what I use when I need to draw or edit an image and it's reasonably versatile and powerful, especially considering the fact that it's free
