The Government’s 10 Year Health Plan is a welcome step forward, and we were pleased to contribute to the consultation – ensuring patient voices were heard, and stressing the need for all people living with liver conditions to have equal access to services and to be treated with dignity.

We're thrilled to announce our new face to face support groups that will be running in locations across England! For anyone affected by liver disease to meet and speak to people who know what you are going through.

➡️Nottingham - Tuesday 11th February: 10.30am-12pm
➡️Gateshead - Wednesday 12th February: 10.30am-12pm
➡️Manchester - Thursday 13th March: 10.30am-12pm

We've been at Parliament this week calling on MPs to:

➡️ Advocate for funding to integrate early diagnosis of liver disease in primary care.

➡️ Engage with their Integrated Care Boards to introduce pathways for the early diagnosis of liver disease.

➡️ Join the APPG on Liver Disease and Liver Cancer as a member and become a voice for patients in Parliament.

We had an excellent turnout to our event in Parliament yesterday, with 90 MPs and Peers attending. We were pleased to speak to them about the urgent need to act on the #LiverHealth crisis in the UK. As well as demonstrating how effective tools for early diagnosis, like non-invasive scanning, are helping to ensure people with, or at risk of, #LiverDisease can be identified when treatment and lifestyle changes are still effective.

Our thanks to all the MPs and Peers who came along, and to the wonderful volunteers, supporters and healthcare professionals who made the event possible.
