everyone should have two therapists, a man who tells you to grow up and get your shit together, and a woman who tells you to love yourself the way you are. Ideally they should be married to each other since at least 9 months before you were born
Deep down, after all the noise… what men really want is respect
It’s hard for men to feel respected in a society that feels stacked against them.
Choose your company wisely and spend your energy strategically
If you, like so many others, feel that pull to lose weight, get fitter, and live healthier and you’re taking those positive steps like joining gyms, downloading apps, starting new plans…
Don’t make this one mistake…
Walking in and immediately telling the people who already train consistently how hard it’s been for you, how injured you are, or what you think you should do next.
They’ve already been through it. They’ve had it just as tough (or tougher).
They’re the ones showing up consistently while you’re just starting and you should be asking them how they keep doing it.
More importantly, if you’re leading with excuses and framing yourself as weak or broken, you’re casting a spell on yourself. You’re listening to your own bullshit, and that will become your downfall.
Mindset comes first.
Set your mind right, then get on with the work. If you truly want it… you can do it. Trust yourself.
Every unsuccessful person I know believes the game is rigged.
Every successful person knows the game is rigged and learns how to play.
It's cliché as hell, but your mindset is everything.
Lift weights, eat well, go to bed like an adult = better brain health, ergo, better MENTAL health. These basics, when done well, support healthy metabolism, healthier brains = better cognitive function.
It's all linked... do the work.

Every time you say you'll do something and then don't do it, your girl, your friends, your family lose respect for you.
Eventually, you'll even stop trusting yourself.
You must be a man of your word.
