In 1999 election about 80% Igbos votes went to OBJ.

In 2003 election, the same thing happened (to the disadvantage of their respected leader Ojukwu, who ran in that election).

In 2007 election, they gave above 80% votes to a Yar’adua.

In 2011 election, they gave above 85% to GEJ.

In 2015 election, they gave almost 90% to GEJ, which was why Buhari gave the speech about how he got just 5% from south east.

In 2019 election, they gave about 80% to Atiku, another northerner.

2023 election was the first time igbos will be giving their votes to one of theirs, they voted the same way, followed the same pattern, gave the same block votes and all of a sudden you think they are being tribalistic.

Aside the fact that Obi is their son, aside the fact that Obi is a good candidate with integrity, the presidency ought to have been zoned to their region in the very first place. Obi may not be a saint, but if compared with BAT & Atiku, he might as well qualify as one.
