First time I quit a studio literally in search of oxygen, surprised to debate on what "the IDF says" or what "The American Jewish Committee thinks" IN IRELAND!
My friends: Israel has killed 20,000 children in 16months. NO EU gvt has cut ties with Israel yet, including Ireland. This is what we must discuss.
This quote from @PamelaSnow2 is one of my favourites from this year. Such a powerful statement. Children's instructional time is invaluable, and we have an ethical duty to ensure it's used effectively and responsibly.

I agree. Evidence is clear that bringing children into the criminal justice system only serves to entrench offending; why enact reforms to bring more children into custody on remand when the real answer is intensive, wrap around services to support rehabilitation?
'These changes will have a disproportionate impact on First Nations children and kids from communities of colour – and will further entrench the systemic racism they are already subjected to,' says @dpn78
We do not support the state government’s plan to trial electronic monitoring of children on bail or its decision to not proceed with further bail reforms for children.

Listening to @RNBreakfast - thank you Catherine Liddle of @SNAICC for calling out the media's tendency to conflate child abuse with responses to 'youth offending' in ways that excuses the appalling harms done to children. https://t.co/Dhr8VytNbN
MEDIA RELEASE: Save the Children Australia CEO @TinklerMat said that by continuing to withhold funding from UNRWA, Australia and other donors have effectively removed the crumbs that #Gaza’s children are surviving on.
My darling daughter’s dear friend Hollie Mildenhall is fundraising for Medical Aid for Palestinians. Check out their @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/WZsL89haMz
Just watched @farah_nabulsi & Hind Shoufani’s beautiful short film – The Present – only 24 mins but it offers a powerful glimpse of under #Occupation in the #WestBank
Highly recommended. Watch it now on Netflix.
'Colonization is alive and well in Australia - we're constantly telling aboriginal communities how they should be living rather than asking them'
In our recent podcast episode @crimsonchat explores relational networks of care, and the marginalization of First Nations voices.
