@whirren1964@miawliki@wannabemuhadith I don't think most of those who get it get it intentionally. Some just have more sensitive skin and/or have been praying on surfaces that can cause this more easily. Islamically speaking, this has no meaning and is insignificant.
@afgazelle Odd. Because I was thinking of it as a sorta... thing that Muslims do with the opposite sex and maintaining their distance and all, but then...
But it could still be sorta that. But still odd.
@winnie4prez@Truth8eeker If one drinks enough water and eats enough (good) food during the night, it is actually fine. Speaking from cases I personally know.
Might depend from mother to mother, perhaps, but you can’t know until you try.
@wannabemuhadith Some miskeen was trying to say that an-Nawawi puts this in context or whatever. So I shared with him what an-Nawawi said as sharh of the hadith.
The longer quote kept getting deleted. Lol.
@wannabemuhadith I remember seeing a short from some “ustadh” making an emotional piece about how the graves in Baqi were demolished as if it was a bad thing that the “Wahhabis” did.
I shared the hadith of ‘Ali talking about not leaving graves without flattening them.
Ibn al-Qayyim:
The greatest shortcoming and deepest regret is the shortcoming of someone capable of achieving excellence and his regret over missing it.
Some of the Salaf said:
“When the paths of goodness become many, one who fails to follow them experiences the most regret.”
We are deeply saddened to inform of the tragic death of our dear brother Abdul Raqeeb, his wife, and their newborn child on this 4th day of Ramadan. We ask Allah - al Rahman al Raheem - to grant them mercy and forgiveness in this blessed month and to enter them into His everlasting Paradise. We'll keep the community updated regarding the janazah prayer insha Allah.
From Allah we come and to Him we will return.
Ibn Rajab:
• When Satan is chained in the month of Ramadan and the flames of desires are subdued by fasting, the dominion of whim and desires fade away.
• The kingdom is restored to the just rule of reason, therefore no excuse remains for the one who persists in disobedience.
There is a 31 year old sister who is suffering from stage 4 bow cancer again. She is a first time mother of a 19 month old baby. Please keep her in you duas.
@AdhelAlSalafi BarakAllahu feek akhi, but you don’t need to make a statement for every matter you may or may not know. Many of the salaf believed that the 15th has virtues, and most of the khalaf. Best not make such a big deal of a matter where there is valid khilaf and you are on the minority.
