During my last shift I called a rapid on my patient because his BP was 50s over 30s while he was on the toilet and I just keep thinking about how he was pissed at me for not letting him get off the toilet with that BP lol

Anyway he had a GI bleed and his Hgb was 6.1 before this and I was waiting on blood bank to send me blood. I’m pretty sure he pooped out a shit ton of blood on the toilet, called blood bank and told them it was now an emergency infusion and we Bolused a unit into him…
