Oh and to cap off this morning, while running to my gate after all the delays, I fell HARD. So hard that my backpack flew off my back over my head. My left knee is the size of an orange now.
They’re inviting us to @AskTSA so what I would sincerely like to know is this - did only one employee show up for PreCheck screening today at Newark? Because the line that I am in would seem to indicate a severe lack of personnel.
Hundreds of people in line, two agents at TSA pre-check. And even though they escorted those of us who are about to miss our flights up to the front of the line, TSA pre-check officers still won’t let us through. They’re forcing us over into the regular line.

@bhx_official My issue here being that I’ve taken five other plane trips through security over the course of the past three weeks with the same meds, and the ONLY place I’ve had this experience was Birmingham.
Do beware that if you need ice to keep your prescribed medication cold whilst flying through @bhx_official, you’re going to need some sort of medical letter in order to keep security from dumping it out. And since it’s SO easy to find ice in the UK…
@bhx_official Interestingly, it does say right on the labels to keep it cool. But the agent was adamant that I needed a letter. I was forced to just put it in my bag and hope that the 19 hours of travel today won’t affect it adversely. As insulin is quite expensive to replace if it goes off.
Just yet another fun thing you learn when traveling internationally. Things that have NEVER been a problem in the US are major ones here. I’m told that I can’t have ice for my medicine because it melts and then becomes a liquid. 🤨 Thanks Bill Nye.
I took an entire business meeting call today standing up, eating a bowl of soup, and using my combo toaster oven/air fryer as my desk for the paperwork. Killing at this adulting thing. ✌🏻
