@ninamxrtinez@aidanfusco@ladyperpetuall In the context of a working dog yes. Mind you the setting of the book is in the 1800’s Alaska. They are strict but not unkind. And the story is from the perspective of the dog so the reasoning of the characters is sometimes not understood by him in human contexts.
@ladyperpetuall As a lover of the book, I’m annoyed they chose to perpetuate the vilification of the PitBull rather than stay true to the book. It was an English bulldog. The whole reason given for why white fang lost the fight was the bulldog was too squat to be knocked over or get to its neck
@FightsA2face@ladyperpetuall The book is called “white fang” by Jack London. Idk what this version of the film is called to make it stand out from the dozens of other films about the book
@aidanfusco@ladyperpetuall He takes the dog, even though everyone tell him to just let it die because it’s too violent. The story isn’t about a white savior. There is a running theme about white fang being “molded by life like clay” into what he is.
We are NOT confused.
We are NOT fake.
We are NOT going through a phase.
We’re built different.
Just because we don’t feel attraction doesn’t mean we can’t be in a relationship. Asexuality isn’t one size fits all, we have variety 🖤🩶🤍💜
